7.What is SQL query?
PCFT Database Designer supports Structured Query Language (SQL) commands. PCFT Database Designer's SQL commands make use of Rushmore technology to optimize performance. From the Input menu, choose Speed Query,you can find the records from millions of records in only several seconds.

8.What does "One-to-Many Table" mean?
"One-to-Many Table" can specifie the parent table linked to the child table displayed in a Grid control, which is available at design time and read-write at run time. From the Super menu, choose One-to-Many Table, you can produce  a big relational database (parent table) from several child tables.

9.What can I do with Report Wizard?
The Report Wizard prompts you with simple questions as you go through a brief series of steps, in which you specify the source and fields that you want to use to create controls on your report.From the Designer menu, choose Report Wizard, you can creates reports using one free table.
Similarly, from the Tools menu, you can choose Filter Data wizard to  produce    several child tables from a big relational database (parent table) with easy questions.

10.What does "Create database solutions for the desktop to the Web" mean?   
Enables you to create a new HTML (Hypertext Markup Language) version of the current form a PCFT table. From the File menu, choose Save As Html, you can specify the layout for the data as well as the layout and style of the head and body of the HTML .

11.When I opened a PCFT table, why the system appears "Program error" box?
The mistake (Command contains unrecognized phrase/keyword ) is produced by the following condition:
The name of the directory containing the *.DBF files can't include any blank.
<Example>
A wrong path to the directory containing the *.DBF files: C:\Program Files\…\pcftsfot\*.dbf
A right path to the directory containing the *.DBF files: C:\Program\…\pcftsoft\*.dbf

Other similar mistakes are produced by the following conditions:
1. The setup path of PCFT software can't include any blank.
<Example>
A wrong setup path to the directory: C:\Program Files\…\pcftsoft
A right setup path to the directory: C:\Program\…\pcftsoft
2. The name of the directory containing the *.DBF files can't be *dbf* or *DBF*.
<Example>
A wrong path to the directory containing the *.DBF files: C:\Program\…\pcftsoft\DBF\*.dbf
A right path to the directory containing the *.DBF files: C:\Program\…\pcftsoft\*.dbf

12.What is  Software Serial Number (ID)?
The Software Serial Number is your Hard Driver Serial Number(ID)
Please start PCFT Database Designer program, click on the "Help/ Registration ",and write a record of your Hard Driver Serial Number(ID). After we receive your Hard Driver Serial Number,we will send you a license (a password) by email .

I3. have entered the registration code, but I can still store only 99 records- Why?
Perhaps you have entered a wrong registration code(Or Evaluation Version).

14.If I format the harddisk or re-setup the windows system, will Software Serial Number be changed?
No! Unless you changed your computer harddisk, the Software Serial Numbe will never be changed. You can get a new  registration code for free from our studio under the condition you changed your harddisk.

15.I OPEN the DBF file - all the other columns are grayed out - not useable, why?
You cannot do any command because the DBF file is read-only. Please Closes the active window(Browse Table mode) to Resuming Normal Operation.

16.You have not yet developed any way to change the KEY from PCFT?
From the PCFT Designer menu, choose Super/Super Administrators(Registered Version)
In the User Group Form,Click <Edit> or <Add>
A. Type the name you want to assign to the Power Users Group.
B. Select Identity and choose License for the new user.
C. Set Password,Confirm new password
D. Choose Accept
E.  Choose Save

17.What level of access do you want to grant <user>?
A. Super user
Specify the user name and password of an Administrator on this computer. The user access to all the resources on this
computer
Select Identity: Manager
choose License : Super
B. Restricted user
Users can operate the computer and save documents, but cannot make potentially damaging changes to the system files and settings.
Select Identity: User/Guest
choose License : Super/General

18.Will your program read my Access 97 files? Will it allow me to make a 'report' which I can print out on my label sheets?
Step 1, Please start Access 97 program,From the File menu, choose Exports,(type:dBase IV) Save as to "ABC.DBF"
Step 2, Please start PCFT program,From the File menu, choose open, Open the "ABC.DBF"
Step 3, From the PCFT Designer menu, choose Report wizard(Registered Version),it will allow you to make a 'report' which you can print out on your label sheets

19.I can't start up the PCFT programm.Please tell me how can I do that?
You can start up the programm(Please Download PCFT again, http://www.pcft.net) with the following steps:
Step 1, Start PCFT programm, you'll get an window with User, Key and five radio buttons;
Step 2, Input the following information to start up the programm:
User: anyone
Key : pcft  <Our initial Password (Key) is: pcft >
Step 3, Please press the ENTER button, then you can enjoy our wonderful software! You may use the evaluation version as long as you want. (Limitations: Only 99 records in a table)

20.Most of my Database Records are established on THE OMEGA FILE by THE OTHER GUYS for the COMMODORE AMIGA computer. I NEED to transfer them to PCFT DATABASE. how can I do that?
If your software could transfer the Data Files to *.txt format, please do the following steps :(Warning:There is no other
ways to be accepted by PCFT software)
Step 1, Run your software,output the file to *.txt format,for example:ABC.TXT
Note:Creates a delimited file. A delimited file is an ASCII text file in which each record ends with a carriage return and linefeed. The default field separator is a comma. Since character data may include commas, character fields are additionally delimited with double quotation marks.
Step 2, Run Microsoft Excel software,open ABC.TXT file,you can edit it in this way
Step 3, Press the menu <FILE/SAVE AS>, "ABC.DBF" file, the file format is DBF IV format
Step 4, Ok! Now, you can run PCFT software, press the menu <FILE/OPEN> to open ABC.DBF.
